A three-year memorandum of understanding controlling illegal fishing in the Po River Basin was signed by the Regions of Lombardy, Veneto, Piedmont and Emilia-Romagna, the prefectures of Milan, Turin, Venice and Bologna and the Po River Basin authority this morning in Isola Serafini, in the municipality of Monticelli d’Ongina (Piacenza)

01/06/2018 - I Life si incontrano

The fourth meeting of the four LIFE associations took place on 1 June at the Parco del Ticino office, in Pontevecchio di Magenta: Life TICINO BIOSOURCE, Life for LASCA, HydroLIFE and CONFLUPO.

The meeting allowed the exchange of information on the common LIFE fish species. Each representative gave a brief explanation of the population levels, the conservation activities carried out and future plans.

27/06/2018 - IX Press Conference


Wednesday 27 June 2018 at 11.30 am a press conference will be held in the Province of Piacenza’s Council Room (corso Garibaldi, 50) to present the "ConFluPo Life Project." This is funded under the LIFE project, which is led by the Lombardy Region and partnered with Emilia Romagna Region, the River Po Interregional Agency, Po Basin District Authority, the Lombardy Park of Ticino, Piacenza and Rovigo Provinces and GRAIA. Enel Green Power S.p.A., licensee and operator of the Isola Serafini dam, is co-financing the Life project and the defragmentation of the Isola Serafini dam.

The project activities developed, the route taken, and the possible project future scenarios will be presented. The following will attend the press conference: Provincial Councillor Massimo Castelli, Secretary General of the Po River Basin District Authority Meuccio Berselli and Andrea Pegazzano of the Authority Technical Office.
